Roger Hannay, president of Hannay Reels, a manufacturer of cable and
hose reels since 1933, bases his company’s success on pride in
workmanship, quality, integrity and value. Since early 2005, he’s looked
to PMA for a workers’ compensation insurance program that helps to
protect all of those values by helping to protect his employees and his
bottom line.
Over the past three years, PMA and Hannay Reels, along with Hannay’s
broker, Ken Grey of Marshall & Sterling, have produced lasting results
that speak to Hannay Reels' commitment to safety and thorough risk
management. In part, it’s this commitment to preserving and protecting
the fundamentals of small business that recently earned Roger Hannay the
2007 New York Small Business Champion of the Year award from the
National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). NFIB is America’s
leading small business advocacy group and its national Small Business
Champion of the Year awards are among its most prestigious honors.
