The PMA Insurance Group Names Carol Marinos Branch Vice President - Atlanta

Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, April 10, 2006 -- The PMA Insurance Group is pleased to announce that Carol Marinos has joined the company as Branch Vice President for the company's Atlanta Office. Ms. Marinos is responsible for leading PMA's Georgia and Alabama operations, managing the agency distribution network and growing PMA's market presence in the region.

Carol is an accomplished insurance industry executive who can provide strategic vision and manage our Atlanta operation with a goal of enhancing our productivity, service delivery and profitability," said John Santulli, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Field Operations. Ms. Marinos has over 20 years of experience at Wausau Insurance, where she held positions of increasing responsibility in underwriting, including her last position with Wausau, Regional Vice President of Underwriting. Immediately prior to joining PMA, she spent the last year as Director of Underwriting for Capitol Insurance Companies.

Ms. Marinos holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco.
