The PMA Insurance Group Names Donald F. Borrell Assistant Vice President, Assistant General Counsel

Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, May 17, 2006 -- The PMA Insurance Group is pleased to announce that Donald F. Borrell has joined the company's Home Office Legal Department as Assistant Vice President - Assistant General Counsel. Mr. Borrell will be responsible for providing legal guidance to various departments throughout PMA, including Claims and Managed Care. He will also be responsible for contract, legislative and state regulatory analysis.

Since 1992, Mr. Borrell had been Managing Attorney for the Law Office of Donald F. Borrell. He began his legal career in 1982 as a Clerk for a Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge and has been a litigator for two law offices.

Mr. Borrell has a B.A. in history from Fordham University and a Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law.
