PMA Announces Alliance with QualCare to Provide Preferred Provider Networks for New Jersey Workers' Compensation Clients

Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, July 24, 2006 -- The PMA Insurance Group, a multi-lines property & casualty insurer, as well as its affiliate PMA Management Corp., a third-party administrator (TPA), has entered into an alliance with QualCare, Inc. to bring QualCare's Preferred Provider Network (PPN) of hospitals, physicians and ancillary health care providers to PMA's New Jersey clients.

PMA's New Jersey clients can now access a comprehensive provider-sponsored network in the Garden State, with a system of 87 hospitals and more than 19,000 physicians and ancillary health care providers. The breadth of the QualCare Network helps to ensure injured workers statewide will have convenient access to quality care at competitive reimbursement rates.
