Jack Aspen Joins The PMA Insurance Group as Assistant Vice President, Risk Control Services

BLUE BELL, PA – January 18, 2007 – The PMA Insurance Group is pleased to announce that Jack Aspen has joined the company as Assistant Vice President, Risk Control Services. Mr. Aspen will assist in leading the Company's risk control operations in PMA's headquarters in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, while providing loss prevention guidance and expertise to its field risk control, underwriting and claims service areas.

Mr. Aspen has more than 19 years' experience in the risk control marketplace and began his career with Liberty Mutual as a Loss Prevention Consultant. He later served as a Technical Consultant in Ergonomics and also worked as a Regional Manager overseeing a team of risk management consultants stationed throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Mr. Aspen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University as well as the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation.
