The PMA Insurance Group Names Glenn R. Giveans as Branch Vice President, Philadelphia Office

BLUE BELL, PA – November 6, 2007 – The PMA Insurance Group is pleased to announce that Glenn R. Giveans has been named as Branch Vice President for The PMA Insurance Group's Philadelphia Office. Mr. Giveans is responsible for overseeing The PMA Insurance Group's Philadelphia area and Allentown operations, managing the agency distribution network and growing PMA's market presence in this region. Mr. Giveans is based in PMA's Philadelphia Office, 200 Four Falls Corp. Center, Suite 110, Rt. 23 and Woodmont Road, Conshohocken, PA 19428, 1-800-362-7816.

Most recently, Mr. Giveans was Senior Vice President at Community Association Underwriters. From 1998 to 2004, he had worked for The PMA Insurance Group in positions including Assistant Vice President and Assistant Branch Manager, New Jersey, and Underwriting Manager, Commercial Markets. From 1994 to 1998, he was Underwriting Manager for Reliance Insurance Company. He began his insurance career in 1983 with CIGNA Insurance Company. Mr. Giveans is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and has the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
