James Walsh Promoted to Vice President of Claims for PMA

BLUE BELL, PA – October 14, 2008 – PMA Management Corp.
is pleased to announce that James Walsh has been promoted to
Vice President of Claims for PMA Management Corp. (PMAMC), a
third-party administrator providing claims administration,
medical savings programs, risk control and loss management
services, primarily to self-insured clients. In this role, Mr.
Walsh is responsible for leading PMAMC's growing claims
operation, which currently handles over 18,000 open claims and
operates throughout the eastern US with continuing expansion
of its operations.
Most recently, Mr. Walsh was Assistant Vice President of
Eastern Region Claims for The PMA Insurance Group. During his
nineteen-year tenure with the PMA, he has held positions of
increasing responsibility. Mr. Walsh began his insurance
career in 1984.

Mr. Walsh earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Management from Pennsylvania State University. He holds an
Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation and is
completing the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
designation.
