Emergency Response Plan
The tragic events of September 11, 2001, clearly demonstrate that terrorism and other catastrophic events can severely disrupt, damage or even destroy American businesses. One of the most prudent precautions a company can adopt to reduce the adverse impact of such events is the adoption of a well thought out emergency response plan that deals with a variety of emergencies, including the potential risk of terrorist attacks.

Open for Business^sm PMA Offers Clients, Agents and Brokers an Interactive, In-Depth Disaster Preparedness Tool

Open for Business^sm, an Internet-based tool, enables organizations to evaluate and mitigate natural disaster risks and to create disaster recovery plans designed specifically for their operations. PMA offers Open for Business^sm to our agents, brokers and clients at no charge through an alliance with the Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS).

Through the PMA website, PMA clients can simply log into the IBHS website and answer questions regarding their operations. Modules will then be recommended that will enable clients to develop contingency plans to recover essential business functions if a disaster occurs.
